About the Opportunity:
On behalf of a leading international brokerage house, we are seeking highly skilled Senior Brokers to join a top-tier firm specializing in Specialty lines of Business including Construction, Property, Energy, and other niche lines across Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry leader known for its strong market presence, innovative risk solutions, and extensive global reach.
Our client is looking for experienced professionals who can drive business growth, build strong client relationships, and lead complex risk placements within the European market. With a strategic expansion across key locations, they are keen to onboard dynamic individuals with a proven track record in specialty insurance.
The Role:
As a Senior Broker, you will play a pivotal role in the firm’s European operations, delivering tailored insurance solutions, expanding the client portfolio, and leveraging strong market relationships. This role is ideal for professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset, extensive market expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of clients across your respective specialism such as Construction, Property, Energy, and/ or niche Specialty lines.
- Lead complex risk placements, utilizing extensive market knowledge and relationships.
- Provide strategic advisory and bespoke risk solutions tailored to client needs.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and key market players.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of placements and client servicing.
- Stay informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks to offer expert guidance.
- Mentor and support junior brokers, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence and innovation.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Broker or Market Leader in the European specialty insurance sector.
- Expertise in one or more of the following lines: Construction, Property, Energy, and/ or niche Specialty insurance.
- Strong client network and established relationships with insurers and underwriters.
- Demonstrated track record in business development and revenue generation.
- Deep understanding of complex risk placements and alternative risk solutions.
- Ability to navigate cross-border placements and regulatory landscapes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are highly desirable.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
