My Client, a global Investment Bank, are looking to hire a Valuations Manager in their Product Control department. This role will play a key role in producing IPVs and VAs for the Structured Rates business.

Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Independent Price Verification (IPV) and Valuation Adjustment (VA) methodologies for the Structured Rates business and produce detailed reports and analyses on IPV and VA results for senior managers, business heads, valuation and risk committees, and leaders across multiple business areas.
- Ensure processes remain aligned with business needs, regulatory requirements, and accounting best practices, as well as internal risk policies and procedures, identifying and escalating any necessary improvements.
- Develop and enhance valuation methodologies, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive improvements and changes.
- Build strong relationships with Front Office traders and quantitative teams, playing a key role in maintaining a robust control framework in response to internal system or market changes.
- Provide subject matter expertise on valuation-related projects and initiatives, including regulatory reviews, new business initiatives, and ad hoc management requests.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of derivatives and their valuation.
- Practical coding experience in VBA or Python.
- Experience of market/counterparty risk measurements and monitoring processes and PnL decomposition techniques.
- Experience of designing and maintaining a robust control framework.
- Experience within a similar Valuations role (preferred).
